*currently not taking new clients* Hi there and welcome to Mind Trek Counseling! My name is Rachel Kay Kingswood and I’m a mental health therapist providing services to clients of all ages.

Feeling stuck or unsure of what you need to heal? Using a holistic integrative approach, I can help you find your footing, learn to trust yourself more, and worry less about things outside your control. I specialize in helping adolescents and adults with autism, ADHD, addictions, chronic pain/illness, and anxiety disorders learn to work with their brain and body to live their most authentic and joyful lives. I also enjoy helping couples and families of all kinds (poly, blended, foster/adoptive, etc.) learn how to build relationships based on respect, empathy, and curiosity.

And here’s my approach

I use an eclectic approach that borrows from multiple techniques and schools of thought based on your unique needs including: mindfulness, Somatic Experiencing, Internal Family Systems, narrative therapy, and psychoeducation. I believe that healing is found when we practice acceptance, curiosity, and compassion with ourselves and others.

I am motivated by seeing people reach their personal goals and grow in their capacity for self-acceptance and hope for their futures. Trauma-informed, LGBTQ+ allied, sensitive to developmental differences. Queer and neurodivergent lived experience. Special interest in somatic and integrative techniques for improving neurocognitive regulation and distress tolerance.
